Warendorf Küchen Retails GmbH (hereinafter "Warendorf") is a sister company of Warendorf Küchenfabrik GmbH, which operates three flagship stores in Düsseldorf, Berlin and Warendorf. The company has become an important partner in the distribution of Warendorf kitchens due to its convenient locations and its high level of consulting expertise.
As a result of Warendorf Küchenfabrik GmbH filing for insolvency on November 30, 2022, the joint management of Warendorf Küchen Retails GmbH also filed for insolvency on November 30, 2022, at the Münster District Court. The court has appointed attorney Dr. Ria Brüninghoff of Pluta Rechtsanwalts GmbH as provisional insolvency administrator.
The team of CVM Capital Value Management GmbH around Managing Partner Kai Peppmeier was exclusively mandated by the management and the preliminary insolvency administrator to carry out a structured M&A process. Due to the successful cooperation with the responsible parties, CVM was able to successfully sell the company to a strategic investor on April 01, 2023 in the form of a transferring reorganization.

The investor is hülsta-werke Hüls GmbH & Co. KG. It is part of the Hülsta Group and also active in the premium furniture sector. Hülsta is thus expanding its portfolio in the kitchen segment. The brand as well as the name of Warendorf will remain under the new investor.
