BMP Group takes over door system division of STRICKER GmbH & Co. KG

STRICKER GmbH & Co. KG addresses a wide range of industries with its innovative door systems. The target markets are in particular the (food) retail trade and the food industry throughout Europe. In addition, it acts as a niche supplier for the railway industry and offers a wide-ranging product portfolio such as folding doors, industrial swing doors, air curtain systems, residual area covers, high-speed doors, strip curtains and wall strips.

STRUCTURED SALES PROCESS 

The management of Stricker GmbH & Co. KG filed for insolvency in self-administration on 14.11.2022. The Münster Local Court appointed Stephan Michels, lawyer, from MICHELS Vorast Insolvenzverwaltung GbR as provisional administrator. 

The CVM Capital Value Management GmbH team led by Managing Partner Kai Peppmeier was exclusively mandated by the management to carry out a structured M&A process. Despite a very tense market situation, CVM, in close cooperation with the parties to the proceedings, succeeded in selling the door systems division within the framework of a transferring reorganisation and preserving all relevant jobs at the Münster location.

The buyer is the BMP Group. The Italian company is one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-speed and industrial doors. The group sells its products in 79 countries and has five production facilities and a distribution network of more than 500 dealers. 

BMP will reorganise the company at the Münster site and offer the remaining employees a future-proof and attractive job in the new company.
