A main part of the product portfolio are products in the area of sealing technology, contact systems for power lines, control enclosures, joining technique, floating elements and conducting and signal carrying parts. Moreover, the products are suitable for the automotive industry. Especially for the interior equipment such as guidance and control elements are produced by Dawedeit. Its headquarters is located in Schalksmühle, North Rhine-Westphalia.

Entire Sales Process

In December 2019, the management of Dawedeit GmbH & Gunter Dawedeit GmbH & Co. KG Verpachtungen, filed for insolvency at local court in Hagen, Germany. On 01 March 2020, Prof. Dr. Peter Neu from D‘Avoine Teubler Neu Rechtsanwälte, was appointed as insolvency administrator.

In April 2020 the assets of the insolvent company were sold to SPRINGTEC Group, located in Iserlohn in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. SPRINGTEC Group takes on the remaining 77 employees.
The insolvency administrator, Prof. Dr. Peter Neu and Thorsten Kapitza, mandated CVM Capital Value Management GmbH to support the search for an investor for the insolvent company. The team around Kai Peppmeier, managing director and partner of CVM, conducted the entire sales process, from the identification of potential investors and the selection of the ideal partner to the successful finalisation of the transaction.
